Why you can not let your Network Marketing Business run on Auto Pilot
12.27.07 (10:17 pm)   [edit]

Can you automate your network marketing opportunity? This is an extremely pertinent question today with the internet becoming such an important part of business.

Let's get one thing clear...if you have been attracted to the MLM business with the promise that you just join and all the work will be done for you, then you are joining for all the wrong reasons. You need to go back to the drawing board and figure out exactly how serious you are about achieving financial wealth.

Maybe it's possible to completely automate other types of businesses but the simple fact is, you cannot possibly apply this automation to your network marketing opportunity for one very valid reason. That is because of the relationship building aspect which is so vital to sustaining a solid long term business.

The MLM business is built on relationship building. It's often referred to as relationship marketing. Without this vital component then any network marketing opportunity is doomed to failure.

So what do we mean by relationship building? The two most important areas of a hands on approach include your lead generation and prospecting, and your training system. Sure, your marketing system can be automated but without your personal follow up, then you'll be frustrated in your efforts to convert your targeted leads into distributors.

Lead Generation And Prospecting

Leads are so crucial to any network marketing opportunity. Let's face it, without them then you may as well forget about growing your downline. Even more important is avoiding the temptation to let someone else do your lead generation for you.

Understand this and you'll be ahead of most other network marketers trying to build their business. Unless you know where your leads are coming from and how they were sourced you will never have control. By implementing your own lead marketing system you have the control of where they are sourced from and the knowledge that they are targeted prospects. This is crucial.

Training

Again, how do you automate training? Letting others train your distributors takes away any control you may have had.

- It's you your prospects will join rather than your network marketing opportunity.

- It's you they need to trust and like before they commit themselves to a business.

- It's you they will turn to for advice and guidance if they encounter any obstacles.

Without your relationship input then your network marketing opportunity really has no foundation. It's you who will be responsible for holding it together and not an automated system.

What to look for in Choosing a Network Marketing Company
12.14.07 (10:42 pm)   [edit]

Top network marketing companies are a dime a dozen. Just as the failure rate is high among MLM distributors, it's almost just as frightening among network marketing companies.

Many companies come and go every month. This is just another grey area which clouds the reputation of the industry and why many will simply not be interested when they come across someone trying to pitch them their offer.

Achieving success in the business is tough enough without wondering whether your company is still going to be there in six months to a year.

Yes, we hear of the amazing stories of how some got in early and made a fortune with a start up company which then went on to become a powerhouse among the top network marketing companies around the world.

Be warned though, these are few and far between and in this article, we'll highlight some important aspects to consider when choosing a company to join.

Choosing A Top Network Marketing Company

MLM companies are no different to traditional businessess; surviving the first five years is crucial. The sad aspect is, start up companies which are here today and gone tomorrow don't learn by the mistakes made by their predecessors.

You as a potential distributor can quickly qualify a company with the following points:

- Is the company offering a product which is similar to other companies? If so, what makes their product better? Have they come up with a new angle or found an attractive improvement to what's already being produced?

- How old is the company? If they are just starting off then be very careful. If they have been around for at least five years and showing steady growth then they come under consideration.

- Have a look at the management structure of a new company. How solid is it? More importantly, do they have the financial resources to survive the initial start up period and settling in phase? This is so important because the reason why many companies go under is a lack of capital.

- Who is running the company? We mentioned the management structure and this is another vital area. If those at the top of the company management system are proven in the industry such as having had success with other top network marketing companies, then this is a definite plus. check out this opportunity!!! very affordable and a winner.  http://website.ws/markphelps" title="http://website.ws/markphelps" target="_blank"http://website.ws/markphelps

Network Marketing Tips For First Contact With A Prospect
12.11.07 (5:40 pm)   [edit]

One of the most powerful network marketing tips you could ever get is to make a good impression on your prospects from the get go.

Very few network marketers still don't realize that most new recruits will actually be joining them and not their business opportunity. So how you convey your message to any prospect the first time you speak with them will have a big bearing on whether they pursue your offer any further.

The Desperate Marketer vs. Smart Marketer

There is a big difference between being a desperate marketer and a smart marketer. The desperate marketer will place their needs ahead of their prospects from the very first time they speak. A smart marketer will treat the first call as a fact finding mission so they can then tailor a solution for the prospect.

Network Marketing Tip - Initial Phone Conversation

Take this network marketing tip to the bank... when you first speak to any prospect remember, it's all about them. Here are some tips in creating a good impression first up:

- Make a proper introduction. Always ask if this is a good time for them. Once the initial introductions are out of the way then...

- You need to establish the prospects why and desires. What time frame they have set themselves to achieve these.

- Make sure you listen carefully to their responses. Write them down.

- When you ask a question, avoid interrupting the prospect or cutting them off. Remember, it's about them. Before you ask a question, wait until they have finished speaking and then pause briefly before asking your question.

Network Marketing Tip - What Not To Do

As far as network marketing tips are concerned, avoiding a desperate demeanor on the phone is high on the list. For example, many new recruits are so excited about speaking to their first prospect they already have them recruited and placed in their downline before they've even spoken with them.

You should never ask your prospect to join your business because you're in the best company which has the best products, life-changing in fact, and they have the best compensation plan bar none.

Yes, you know this is true but all the prospect will see is a desperate individual trying to sign them up at any cost. In fact, you'll come across as having no interest in their needs, only yours.

This first contact should be limited in time. Your main aim is to understand what's important to the prospect and then leave them with some information to go over before your next appointment. This is one of the best network marketing tips you'll ever hear.

Finding The Secret To Network Marketing Success
12.07.07 (5:48 pm)   [edit]

You're about to learn the secret to network marketing success. Yes, this one tactic will leverage your business to unparalleled levels.

The truth is it's not really a secret but just simply common sense. Can you remember clearly what attracted you to your opportunity? Apart from the lure of making a lot of money, it was probably the simple prospecting strategy employed by your sponsor.

Stick To The System

This was certainly the case in my situation. But you know, a funny thing happened. After being drawn into the opportunity by way of a simple report teaching the fundamentals of network marketing success, I was then steered down the path of buying leads and cold calling my prospects over the phone.

What's up with that? You see, the downfall of many new distributors is using one system to attract good targeted prospects and then sabotaging their business by asking them to employ an entirely different strategy. Why? Because the simple fact of the matter is, people hate cold calling and it's easier for a sponsor to ask their new distributor to do the dirty work rather than themselves.

Successful distributors with huge downlines are often apt to play the numbers game. They already have reached a level of financial security where losing some of their downline through these practices really doesn't make much impression on their overall business success. In the process, those who drop out will be replaced by new distributors.

Relationship Building

Network marketing success relies a lot on developing a strong relationship with your prospects. It starts with the offer of something of value such as a report. It then progresses to a meeting between you and your prospect and this is when you can really hit home the fact you know what you're talking about by training the prospect even before they've joined your business.

After they join, you then teach them the simple process which ultimately attracted them to you and your opportunity. Under no circumstances ask them to do what you're not prepared to do yourself. It will kill duplication within your organization and will damage your reputation. This may work when your downline is thousands of people strong but is a surefire way to "the poor house" for somebody just starting out.

So in one sentence, the secret to network marketing success can simply put down to finding a successful system and teaching your prospects to apply the same system. When you do this, real magic can take place.   http://website.ws/markphelps" title="http://website.ws/markphelps" target="_blank"http://website.ws/markphelps
